We always try to meet as many of our consultants as possible for our Christmas get together and this year we headed to Spain where we were able to meet some of our lovely people!
Most of them were working offshore Spain on a big 9+ month decommissioning project, so between rotations it was a real pleasure to treat them to some down time in the winter sun of beautiful Moraira.
We managed to fit in a scenic e-bike tour, wine tasting, padel tennis and a few BBQs – chef’d by the MD Neil Taylor of course!
Above all it was a really lovely few days spent getting know our people, building those relationships and saying thank you for all the hard work they’ve been doing all year. Here’s to 2026!

At the end of October we attended Wind Energy Ireland for the first time and it did not disappoint. Great to hear about the plans for windfarms off Ireland, they’re already doing a grand job of onshore wind, so this will be exciting to watch and get involved in.
Orphanage Fundraising – Bournemouth Half Marathon
A few of the Hydenlyne team helped raise money for the orphanage Casa da Criança Santa Isabel, in Angola by running the half marathon in Bournemouth this year – well done runners!
Poland Cycle 4 Climate
Earlier this month, members of the Hydenlyne team and friends came together in Poland to take part in a Cycle 4 Climate ride. Some of us took on the 50km route, while others challenged themselves with 100km, (well done to Lukasz for coming 1st place!) before joining together in the evening for a well earned meal.
