We’ve been to all the conferences this year, or so it feels!
At the end of October we attended Wind Energy Ireland for the first time and it did not disappoint. Great to hear about the plans for windfarms off Ireland, they’re already doing a grand job of onshore wind, so this will be exciting to watch and get involved in.
Next we went to Aberdeen for Floating Offshore Wind where we had our own stand, which was great being able to see many people we might have missed otherwise! We managed to have a lot of useful meetings with old and new clients, and enjoyed a few of the conference talks too.
A few weeks later we checked out the Offshore Decommissioning Conference in St Andrews, a firm favourite for the regular attendees and we can see why – lots of useful and helpful contacts milling around, ready to talk anything decom (and food/drink) related!
At the same time, we also had a presence at Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference in Amsterdam – one we manage to make every year and always find incredibly useful for networking. We had some 25+ meetings over 2 days! There was a lot of coffee involved!
