Earlier this month, we were delighted to host our Hydenlyne Summer Event, bringing together members of our team and a group of valued offshore consultants for a day focused on wellbeing, connection, and a well-earned break from the offshore routine.
Held in the beautiful Dorset countryside, the day began with a relaxed breakfast at Cloisters in Wimborne before we headed to the coast for a scenic hike from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door. The weather was kind, the views were stunning — and to top it off, we even spotted a seal bobbing near the shore at Durdle Door!
Some of our brave consultants also took the opportunity for a refreshing dip in the sea, making the most of the spring sunshine before we made our way back for the next part of the day.
The afternoon wrapped up with a BBQ feast hosted by Neil, where we all enjoyed great food, relaxed conversation, and a chance to catch up outside of the usual work environment. The garden setting made it the perfect spot to unwind and celebrate the brilliant people who make up our wider Hydenlyne network.
We’re especially grateful to the consultants who made the time to attend, despite busy schedules and travel — it was a fantastic reminder of the power of face-to-face connection and the importance of making time for wellbeing.
Thank you to everyone who joined us — and to Neil for hosting! We’re already looking forward to the next one.
